In the case of burglaries, the block 5 (where the 5A apartment is) had a theft on 5L on April 17th. 2007, and an intent of theft on G5 (5G) on approximately April 26th. 2007. That is, 17 and 7 days before the abduction of Madeleine.

In the 5L the theft was in a second floor (more difficult to watch if it had guests), and when the clients left the apartment to dinner for the first time after the check-in. That is why I think that a least a then Ocean Club employee could be involved in the burglaries.

After more than 120 hours of the McCann had arrived to the 5A apartment, many employees would be aware: the persons that carried the cribs to the apartment, the men that repaired a shutter, the cleaner employee, the persons who carry the siutcases and the guests from the reception to the apartments, persons of the reception and administration. In the list I mentioned here there could be a person with a theft record and another with a drugs traffic record, according to the Polícia Judiciária official files closed in 2008.

He encontrado, en los primeros volúmenes de los expedientes de la Polícia Judiciária, la referencia a este hombre que: (a) estaba viviendo cerca del apartamento 5A,
(b) estaba viviendo cerca del lugar donde la familia Smith vio al sospechoso,
(c) tenía un prontuario previo sobre hurtos,
(d) era un empleado del Ocean Club,
(e) no estaba trabajando entre las 09:00 pm y las 11:00 pm el 3 de mayo de 2007.
