Los investigadores dicen que Loan no pudo alejarse solo del lugar hasta perderse. Pero en realidad no tienen pruebas para descartar tal posibilidad. Expresan que si se hubiera perdido lo habrían encontrado en las búsquedas y rastrillajes. Pero en la zona hay una gran cantidad de lagunas, y otros lugares peligrosos, y la búsqueda no habría sido tan exhaustiva como se cree. Esto nos recuerda al Caso Pomar.

Madeleine McCann: una zona que debería investigarse en profundidad (Madeleine McCann: an area that should be thoroughly investigated)

Hay una zona, en Praia da Luz, localidad donde fue secuestrada Madeleine McCann que, en mi opinión, debería ser investigada en profundidad.

(There is an area in Praia da Luz, the village where Madeleine McCann was abducted, that, in my opinion, should be thoroughly investigated.)

El siguiente mapa Google muestra 4 zonas bien definidas (the following Google map shows four clearly defined areas):

A: Apartamento donde fue secuestrada Madeleine, antes de las 22:00 horas del día 3/5/2007 (the apartment where Madeleine was abducted, before 10:00 p.m. on May 3, 2007). 

B: Lugar donde la familia Smith vio a un hombre llevando en brazos a una criatura de unos 4 años, cuya descripción encaja bien con Madeleine, a las 22:05 del mismo día (the location where the Smith family saw a man carrying a child of about four years old in his arms, whose description closely matches Madeleine, at 10:05 p.m. that same day).

C: Zona donde la Operación Grange de la Policía Metropolitana -Scotland Yard- realizó búsquedas en 2014, una loma (the area where Operation Grange of the Metropolitan Police -Scotland Yard- conducted searches in 2014, a mound).

D: Zona de interés actual, según mi opinión (a currently relevant area, in my opinion).

El secuestro de Madeleine en A con la posterior visualización del posible secuestrador llevando a Madeleine en la zona B, indica un desplazamiento hacia el cuadrante Sudoeste (the abduction of Madeleine at point A, followed by the sighting of the possible abductor carrying her in area B, indicates a movement toward the southwest quadrant).

Muy probablemente esa fue una de las razones por las que Scotland Yard realizó búsquedas en la zona C -siempre en el cuadrante Sudoeste- aunque sin resultados positivos (that was most likely one of the reasons why Scotland Yard carried out searches in area C — always within the southwest quadrant — although without any positive results).

La zona D, también al Sudoeste del apartamento de Madeleine, es interesante por 3 razones: 1. permite el acceso a un pequeño acantilado sobe el mar; 2. era una zona de parking no oficial para autocaravanas; y 3. había varias casas en construcción en mayo de 2007 (area D, also to the southwest of Madeleine's apartment, is of interest for three reasons: 1. it provides access to a small cliff overlooking the sea; 2. it was an unofficial parking area for camper vans; and 3. several houses were under construction there in May 2007).

La comparación de una mapa satelital de octubre de 2006, unos 6 meses antes del secuestro; con una mapa satelital de junio de 2007, menos de 2 meses después del secuestro; muestra las casas en construcción (the comparison between a satellite map from October 2006, about six months before the abduction, and a satellite map from June 2007, less than two months after the abduction, shows the houses under construction).

¿Se investigó qué empresa o empresas de construcción hicieron esas casa? ¿Qué empleados trabajaron en las construcciones? ¿Había vigilante nocturno? ¿Hay fotos de las autocaravanas que posiblemente estacionaron en esa  zona? ¿Se hizo una búsqueda submarina en el pequeño acantilado? (Were the following questions ever investigated? Which construction company or companies built those houses? Which workers were employed on the construction sites? Was there a night watchman on duty? Are there any photos of the camper vans that may have been parked in that area? Was an underwater search carried out near the small cliff?).

En mi opinión, de no encontrarse pruebas sobre el secuestro de Madeleine en las áreas ahora bajo búsquedas, esta zona D debería ser investigada (in my opinion, if no evidence related to Madeleine's abduction is found in the areas currently under investigation, area D should be thoroughly examined).

Madeleine McCann: ¿Nuevas búsquedas antes de septiembre? (New searches before September?)

Todo parece indicar que habrá nuevas búsquedas en Praia da Luz y alrededores, antes de septiembre.

(Everything seems to indicate that there will be new searches in Praia da Luz and the surrounding areas before September.)

Podría haber áreas de interés que no han sido suficientemente investigadas.

(There may be areas of interest that have not been thoroughly investigated.)

Madeleine McCann: Why are those houses being searched?

One of the reasons those ruined houses on the plateau near Praia da Luz are being searched by the German police is that the suspect Christian Brueckner may have been living in one of them in May 2007. 

Although today they appear uninhabitable (photos from 2023), in 2007 they were not as badly damaged and were habitable to a certain extent.

Was Madeleine held in one of those houses?

Did Christian Brückner commit a burglary 55 metres from 5A three months before Madeleine's abduction?

In his excellent book "My search for Madeleine", Jon Clarke reported that one of the SIM cards found in 2016 in Brückner's factory at Neuwegersleben, Germany, belonged to "a British man whose holiday apartment in Praia da Luz had been robbed around the time that Maddie was missing". 

I think he is referring to the burglary of "Casa María" in February 2007, some three months before Madeleine's abduction.

"Casa María", that also could be called "4A".

PostScriptum (October 18, 2023): A very reliable source told me that the burglary cited by Jon Clarke took place in August 2007, and was not the burglary of "Casa María". Was Brückner robbing at the Praia da Luz zone three or four months after the abduction? Very strange if he was the abductor.
